Malvix Studio’s Irene is a linear switch that takes design inspriation from a popular combination in the frankenswitch community to use a Cherry’s top housing for its nylon properties. This plus Gateron’s proprietary Ink material for the bottom housing makes it almost appear like a factory-made frankenswitch in some ways!
As a side note, while it appears that there is no public mentions of why the switch is named “Irene” from the product page, it suspiciously is reminiscent of the purple theme used often used for Irene from the K-Pop group Red Velvet.
