Gateron Dual Rail Magnetic Jade Mini E Switch
Gateron Dual Rail Magnetic Jade Mini E Switch
1 Unit = 1 Switch unless otherwise stated
That might be the longest switch name yet. So, this is a dual rail hall effect switch from Gateron, with their somewhat new integrated LED condensers, and their solid bottom housing instead of the hole in the bottom like the older ones. They are also one of very few switches that specify the direction the magnet faces, although it isn't as clear as it could be. The E version has the N pole facing the LED.....what does that mean? How is that related to E? Do magnets have East and West poles that I've forgotten about? That still wouldn't inherently relate to the fact that the North pole faces the LED, that doesn't tell us whether the East or West pole (which doesn't exist anyway) faces up or down.
